    I also Have an issue.
Today I had my steps on the watch face, all good.
Used my edge 810 for a ride and sync'ed with the Portal.
Connect shows the activity and everthing good. The watch graphic is not showing the total calories burned and distance. It only shows the step data.
Is that supposed to be that way?

  • Loving this watch face, very creative with the space allowed! I'm a data junkie so I love the dual graphs. I do have a question though. On Saturday I went for a 50 mile ride, and the next day ran 3 miles. Yesterday I biked 23 or so again, but my total only shows 53.03 miles, despite showing a rise in mileage that I would expect to represent my ride last night. Can you tell me what's happening here?

Here is a link to a picture of what I'm seeing. For some reason I can't upload a picture via my phone at the moment. http://imgur.com/qlJhxdo

Hi, these numbers above the graph are maximums from the week. It's descriptions of peaks.

Unfortunately yes, Garmin is not synchronising activities and calories across multiple devices. Not at the time, I hope they will implement it.

But the distance and Calories should be sync'ing and the watch should take the value from the Connect Portal right?
The Portal is showing the total distance and calories burned

Perhaps I'm missing something because I never biked 53.03 miles. The actual number was 50.24. And including my runs from the next day puts me at 53.73 miles so not the value shown either.

If that number is supposed to be the maximum value for the week, can I suggest a running tally instead? I'd get much more value out of my overall weekly mileage at a glance than I would my longest event. Just a thought! Thanks for the reply so quickly.
  • My latest information is that Connect portal is consolidating calories, distances ans steps from your all devices, but these totals are not propagated back to each devices. To me, each device holds only its own values.

The maximum includes your activities (ride, run, etc.) of the day plus other distance walked during that day, so your 50.2 mi ride + 3 mi walks get your daily total and it was the maximum of the week. It gets you a scale of the graph.
  • OK that all makes sense. Thanks!
  • An absolute thing of beauty. Congratulations.
