!!! IMPORTANT - PLEASE, RESTART YOUR WATCHES AFTER WATCHFACE UPDATE IF YOU HAVE SOME CONFIGURATION ISSUES !!!

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- activity history graph (past 7 days + today) in kCal and km/mi (or steps)
- maximum or sum or average kCals and km/mi (or steps)
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.
- "goal reached" indicator in the week graph (small white triangle)

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

  • Hi, this is how my graph looks.

The current days red graph area always seems to flatten out at the end of the day..is my watch not set up correctly?

  • Yes, thats correct, your daily kcalories are just very static. You will see a peak after longer training. Look at my screen.

  • The watchface is perfect!

Koulik I was wondering If you change the graph refresh from 5 to 10min and remove the battery percentage change (its not working most of the time when you are moving) will it save battery? My main concern using IQ Watchface is battery. Also I noticed small delay using watch functions Vs stock setup. Do you believe you can do something to optimize both (battery and response time).

Finally since my Fenix 3 has temperature sensor is there a way to add current temperature just above daily km count? (right side) - if this will cause significant battery drain (I believe it has to refresh every 10 seconds) maybe is not worth it - but If you build an other version Fenix 3 ActiFace Temp ver 1.0 with these changes (not changing from 1.7) I will be glad to test it and donate cause you gave us one more reason to enjoy our new toy....

Hi George, thank you for the feedback.

    To your questions:

Removing battery percentage change will not save your battery, because it will still be switching between low and high energy if you look at the watch and all graphics will be redrawn once per second in high energy, doesn't matter if there is battery icon or percentage. Developers can't turn this switching off. Btw. I didn't noticed any differences in impact on battery between default watchface and custom watchfaces (on 920XT).

That's true, scrolling through Connect IQ apps is not very smooth, but I don't know how to improve it. If you try another watchface or widget, for example very graphically simple Calendar widget, there is still twitching. Guys from Garmin have to do some job there.

Watchfaces are very limited by their API and doesn't have access to most of functions. Temperature can be accessed only from application, widget or datafield, the same as heart rate, sorry.
  • Hi Koulik - current version is very good - thanks for clarify these issues :-)
  • Great watch face - been using it as my daily driver for the past week and a half. The rounded graph for distance and colour fill for calorie is a great improvement over the previous design.

    Cheers.
  • Happy to recognise you efforts with a donation, but in light of the recent terrible earthquake in Nepal, may I make a donation to that worthy cause instead?

Absolutely! Nepal needs a donations much more then me. I'll be happy if you help them with some amount of money. Thank you!
  • Loving this watch face, very creative with the space allowed! I'm a data junkie so I love the dual graphs. I do have a question though. On Saturday I went for a 50 mile ride, and the next day ran 3 miles. Yesterday I biked 23 or so again, but my total only shows 53.03 miles, despite showing a rise in mileage that I would expect to represent my ride last night. Can you tell me what's happening here?

Here is a link to a picture of what I'm seeing. For some reason I can't upload a picture via my phone at the moment. http://imgur.com/qlJhxdo
