!!! IMPORTANT - PLEASE, RESTART YOUR WATCHES AFTER WATCHFACE UPDATE IF YOU HAVE SOME CONFIGURATION ISSUES !!!

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- activity history graph (past 7 days + today) in kCal and km/mi (or steps)
- maximum or sum or average kCals and km/mi (or steps)
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.
- "goal reached" indicator in the week graph (small white triangle)

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

Configuration
------------------------

ActiFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
Here is how to do it: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?332843-How-to-App-Settings

Possible settings:
- Color
- Date format (and second date format in case when the notification icon is shown on Fenix-like models)
- Inverted mode (white background)
- Graph description - values above the graph - week maximums, sums or averages
- White line - switch between daily steps and distance for the white line graph
- Color graph style - switch between curve graph and bar graph
- Custom fields types (differs between models):
* UTC (with TZ offset)
* UTC24 (with TZ offset, always 24H format)
* steps
* distance
* calories
* goal percentage
* heart rate
* altitude
* week goal percentage (counted all step goals and steps from the beginning of the week)
* week distance average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* week steps average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* week calories average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* sunrise/sunset times
* climbed floors
* climbed meters/feet
* descended meters/feet
* week intensity minutes percentage
- Enable/disable seconds
- Enable/disable inactivity indicator

  • Hi Koulik thank you for your efforts to build this excellent watch face!

    Some suggestions for Fenix

    its very difficult to read above the chart Km and KC count since the dark gray color is not visible - a lighter tone will be better.
    The total step count bar in bottom I think it should be green color (like battery icon) - I dont think it would look cheap! The step count font size is visible in that size and balanced with date font.
    Also it would be great to have a version with seconds (upper right next to minutes) since when we are in the gym we count time between sets. Currently I have to change to standard digital watch face to count seconds!
  • I understand, that it's color display, but it goes against my personal aestethic feeling to use too many colors on that small screen. I've tried it and it really damages one-main-color concept.

    But.. I'm still looking for solution for step counter on Fenix 3.

    Currently my favourite style looks like this:

  • Yes, this is much better IMO!! -could you please consider to build a version with seconds? I think it would be perfect...
  • I'm still no sure if seconds make a sense on custom watchfaces.. While default watchface is part of the device firmware and has seconds internally implemented, custom Connect IQ watchfaces are updated (redrawn) once per minute in order to save battery. Seconds will be always :00 in this mode. Only way to turn off low energy mode is when you make a gesture with your wrist and turn watch to the "more" vertical position. Then, it starts updating screen each second, but ONLY for 6 seconds. It goes back to low energy after this period. So, can it be useful for precise second measurement?
  • I didn't knew that - preserve battery is very important maybe is better then not to add seconds feature
    you are right with wrist movement and 6-sec update is not practical. I hope the next version will be like the picture above....:)

    i like it as well
  • It would be great, unfortunately on Vivoactive the Kcal and Km (right hand side of the face) are miniscule in size and are almost invisible. It is a shame as i reckon there is space enough around these two entries to allow a more decently sized font. Currently i am using Big Time just because of this, as in big time the numbers are visible clearly.
    Of note i am a young individual with no sight problems.
    Cheers
  • Released version 1.7

    - redesigned graph
    - improved step counter on Fenix3 (for better readibility)
    - changed inactivity indicator in rectangle screen version
    - small design tweaks
    - graph data are computed each 5 minutes for better energy efficiency

    I know that it is little jerky if you scroll through widgets but there are some hardware limits and there are not much possibilities how to make it more smooth. I believe this is final design at the moment and I plan to continue with development only when Garmin releases a new Connect IQ features. Of course, except for possible bugs - they will be fixed immediatelly :)

    I understand you, but I had to find some compromises for 1.2'' screen sizes and while Big Time is targeted as really quick readable basic data, my watchface contains graphs over half of the screen. Space around these two metrics are very relative. If you use 24H time format and it's 23:23 and you elapsed 30km (or 3000kcal), then you can see there is no enouch space around it. It's nice on custom watchfaces that you can choose what better fits to you. Someone prefers pure basic data in quick readable form, someone prefers advanced graphical visualization where numbers are minor. I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with the layout..
