Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- activity history graph (past 7 days + today) in kCal and km/mi (or steps)
- maximum or sum or average kCals and km/mi (or steps)
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.
- "goal reached" indicator in the week graph (small white triangle)

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

Configuration
------------------------

ActiFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.

Possible settings:
- Color
- Date format (and second date format in case when the notification icon is shown on Fenix-like models)
- Inverted mode (white background)
- Graph description - values above the graph - week maximums, sums or averages
- White line - switch between daily steps and distance for the white line graph
- Color graph style - switch between curve graph and bar graph
- Custom fields types (differs between models):
* UTC (with TZ offset)
* UTC24 (with TZ offset, always 24H format)
* steps
* distance
* calories
* goal percentage
* heart rate
* altitude
* week goal percentage (counted all step goals and steps from the beginning of the week)
* week distance average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* week steps average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* week calories average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* sunrise/sunset times
* climbed floors
* climbed meters/feet
* descended meters/feet
* week intensity minutes percentage
- Enable/disable seconds
- Enable/disable inactivity indicator
- Battery indicator type (Fenix3 only)
- Color graph line

Hi, it's today total calories burned. It's actual value. The value on Garmin Connect is usually lower because it's value of the moment when you synced last time.

Sunrise/Sunset

Petr,

Any word on making sunrise/sunset working without active GPS? I am noticing significant battery drainage when this option is activated.

Hi,

ActiFace doesn't use GPS and it is not required for the sunrise/sunset time calculation. Watches (except of Epix what I know) provide last known coordinates.

Hi Petr, on my Epix the sunrise / sunset doesn't work properly too. It only appears sometimes. Can't describe it better unfortunately. Having latest version of watchface.

I'm affraid that Epix is only device which doesn't keep last known location. It just forgets it after a while.

I can try to fix it by saving last non-empty location and using it until it has changed.

Time zone changes

I had an interesting anomaly that is causing problems between Fenix3 and my favorite watch face, ActiFace.

I crossed a time zone from east to west last night while driving home late. I was in one time zone when the time changed from yesterday to today. Then I cross the time zone line at about 12:15 am this morning so my watch changed to 11:15 pm yesterday. Then 45 minutes later it changed to 12:00 am today again.

This has resulted in Fenix3 not reporting steps or calories correctly to ActiFace. The watch face is showing no steps (white line) or calories (green curve) for yesterday. It is currently showing 675 steps so far this morning but almost a full day of calories.

I now have the following entries in order in History - Steps: Today 675 steps, Yesterday 20 Steps (while driving last night which is what ActiFace is showing), Today 0 Steps (while driving last night), Yesterday 7220 Steps (which is the correct step count yesterday). GC & GCM are both showing 7220 steps for yesterday but Actiface is showing no steps.

Can you add a little feature?

It is the most complete watchface for my vivoactive.
It will be the best if you add the possibility to select date format in settings menu.
Eg. now the date format is Day-Month-Number of the day. In Europe we prefer to have date format as Day-Number of Day-Month.
It has a small lag when sliding from watchface to other widgets. It seems to be due to graphical complexity of this watchface.

Hi, thanks for the report, but I think you'll need to contact Garmin with that, because all that statistics are prepared inside the device firmware. Watchfaces are just reading it.

ActiFace calculation inconsistency

Hi,

The face is great! However I found inconsistency in max/sum/avg calculations - one day seems to be ignored, so aggregates are flawed. In my case it is last tuesday that is ignored )(today is friday).
