!!! IMPORTANT - PLEASE, RESTART YOUR WATCHES AFTER WATCHFACE UPDATE IF YOU HAVE SOME CONFIGURATION ISSUES !!!

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- activity history graph (past 7 days + today) in kCal and km/mi (or steps)
- maximum or sum or average kCals and km/mi (or steps)
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.
- "goal reached" indicator in the week graph (small white triangle)

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

Configuration
------------------------

ActiFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
Here is how to do it: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?332843-How-to-App-Settings

Possible settings:
- Color
- Date format (and second date format in case when the notification icon is shown on Fenix-like models)
- Inverted mode (white background)
- Graph description - values above the graph - week maximums, sums or averages
- White line - switch between daily steps and distance for the white line graph
- Color graph style - switch between curve graph and bar graph
- Custom fields types (differs between models):
* UTC (with TZ offset)
* UTC24 (with TZ offset, always 24H format)
* steps
* distance
* calories
* goal percentage
* heart rate
* altitude
* week goal percentage (counted all step goals and steps from the beginning of the week)
* week distance average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* week steps average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* week calories average (counted from the beginning of the week without today)
* sunrise/sunset times
* climbed floors
* climbed meters/feet
* descended meters/feet
* week intensity minutes percentage
- Enable/disable seconds
- Enable/disable inactivity indicator
- Battery indicator type (Fenix3 only)
- Color graph line
  • Nice update! I see the activity bar is now removed. If that is planned I wonder if it would make sense to now move the days distance to the left side and just have the sunset/Cal's on the right.

    That would help shift the main time over to the center a bit and keep the daily and max distance on same side.

    Great work!

    Question. Did the update shift to kms instead of steps? Believe it used to say max steps and not max kms.

    Inactivity bar is still present.. It will show when you don't move more than 60 minutes :) It's standard functionality which is implemented in default watchfaces as well. So I cannot move graph to the left.

    Big change was also removing of badges in 3.0.

    Haha OK I will get moving. I was referring to just moving the daily step# to the left so it could shift the big time over a bit

    Forerunner 235 - cannot download?

    Hi There, I'm very excited about using this watch face; however, I can't seem to download it to my watch. I've used Garmin Express, and it syncs and says this is the watch face I'm using. But, It's not the watch face that displays. I'm guessing this is a Garmin issue, but figured I'd check in here to see if this is a known bug & if there's something I'm missing that would get it to work!

    Thanks,
    Angie

    What it could be is that there is a limit of 16 CIQ apps (watchfaces + watch-apps + widgets + data fields) on a watch. Could it be you already had 16?
  • ..or it is crashing and returning to the default watchface. Are you able to change configurations via GE or GCM?

    Additional Color Options

    Have you considered adding additional color options such as: Dark Blue, Dark Red, Dark Green, etc.? Would be nice to have darker options instead of the brighter versions of the above colors.

    Keep up the good work, great watch face.
  • Hi, I own a 920XT and just installed the new version. The seconds and the sunrise is enabled in the options but neither of them is showed on the watch. The other settings like color works pretty well. Is it a characteristic of the 920XT that the seconds are not shown?

    Furthermore: are the batches also gone on the 920XT? I am asking since there is still space for it above the daily step count. I found the batches really helpful for motivation...

    Actiface 3.1 - FR 920XT

    Hi,

    I downloaded the update of Actiface 3.1 but my watch has gone back to the default settings.
    Removed and downloaded several times but nothing happens.

    Best regards,

    OK, first there is an update to the watchface since your first post. It's at V3.0 now. Worked fine with me for public V6.50 and now for beta V6.52

    First check if you have the latest Garmin Express software installed at your PC. If not, then update Garmin Express, configure ActiFace, and re-sync your Fenix 3.

    If that doesn't work, then try to remove and install again the watchface.

    If that doesn't work, then clear your CIQ apps and their settings. That means to delete everything in folder /GARMIN/APPS, including SETTINGS and DATA subdirectories.
    Then you can try to install it again.
    The last method was suggested by the dev at a previous post.

    Hi,
    After updates(Express, activace) the face is working fine, thank you.
  • Thanks

    Very good watch face. Thanks for all your hard work Petr.
