  • Felix 3 issues

I just switched from ActiFace red to newest version. Two issues I'm having:

    1. Activity graph isn't showing my distance (from morning workout on trainer). The total distance shows up as number above calorie count, but flat line graph.

    2. When I try to configure watch face in connect, I get an error "There was an error retrieving the settings from your device, please try again". I've rebooted watch several times, no luck.

Running lastest Fenix firmware 4.9, and connect IQ is also up to date (iOS).

    Suggestions?

You need CIQ 1.2 or higher to use this feature. Wait for the new F3 fw version, or install the beta one.
  • Ok. What about the distance not showing up on graph. Interesting that when I switch beck to ActiFace Rec, same issue, with flat line. Is here a problem retrieving the distance data from a trainer (Wahoo Kickr)? As I mentioned, the distance count is accurate but graph is flat.

    Problem on Epix?

I can't get the ActiFace working on my Epix, even thought it works fine on my 920XT. I have been using the Epix, so there's activity data, while the 920XT has been idle for a while.

When I select the ActiFace, the Epix just reverts to the default watch face.

Hi, what firmware do you have on your Epix? I've 2.93beta installed and ActiFace works fine. Have you installed the latest version 2.0.2 of the ActiFace?

The notification icon doesn't seem to be always working for me on a 920tx

Only updates when the Garmin connect app in open and on the screen. If the app is open in the background the notification icon shows but doesn't update as the phone gets new messages. If the app is closed then the notification icon disappears.

Is there a way to make this work without Garmin connect app always being the open and on the iPhone screen.
  • Unfortunately no, GCM must be running on the background (even for an activity synchronization). But it needn't be on the iPhone screen. Just running somewere on the background. If it is closing all time, your iPhone mayebe has small amount of available memory and it's killing non-active apps.

I'm experiencing exactly the same on my Epix fw 2.90 with ActiFace 2.0.2

I'm affraid that there is some issue with CIQ and fw 2.90 on Epix, because ActiFace works fine with 2.93b. But it should be OK with the new fw version which is coming every moment (I hope).
