!!! IMPORTANT - PLEASE, RESTART YOUR WATCHES AFTER WATCHFACE UPDATE IF YOU HAVE SOME CONFIGURATION ISSUES !!!

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- activity history graph (past 7 days + today) in kCal and km/mi (or steps)
- maximum or sum or average kCals and km/mi (or steps)
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.
- "goal reached" indicator in the week graph (small white triangle)

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

  • V 2.0 installed at Fenix 3 running 6.14b fw. Works fine as supposed to.
    Kudos to dev.

    Edit:

When the first notification appeared on watch screen, after it supposed to released itself (with out pressing any watch buttons) I had a white screen followed by a default digital watch face (black digits on a white screen).
Same happens if the watch gets locked and unlocked (by pressing the top left button).
Had to revert to the previous version.
I can't really tell if it's the beta version bug (has Connect IQ V1.2.1) or a watchface bug.

Thanks for reporting it, I'll look at it. You should also give a feedback to Fenix dev team's beta mailbox for that case there is a fw bug.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I've send an email to fenix3 beta dev team. Hopefully one way or the other it will be fixed.
  • I've just tested it on my friend's Fenix3 with fw 6.14 and it seems to be working there. We tested your scenarios. Can you provide me more info, like what exactly do you have on the watchface before it crashes, can you send me photo on [email protected]? Or just describe what icons you can see, what settings do you have set? I have to adjust settings as you. Have you tried restart the watch?

    Thanks

    Bug

Installé sur 720 TXT, mis à jour. Paramétrage sans souci. Superbe. Par contre, sans aucune raison apparente, la montre revient de temps à autre au cadran de base. Pour réactiver ActiFace, il faut le désinstaller puis le réinstaller et c'est reparti. Curieux.

Set on 720 TXT, updated. Setting worry. Superb. By cons, for no apparent reason, the watch returns from time to time in basic dial. To reactivate ActiFace, you must uninstall and then reinstall it and go again. Curious.

Hi, Do you mean 920XT? Have you the latest firmware 6.10?

    Gave it another try.
It seems to be OK on default colour (blue).
But if I change it to red, then it breaks again. It breaks by pressing any key and then return to watch mode. I have send a short video to your email. And yes, I did a reboot.
In order to revert the problem I have to uninstall the facewatch from GC, and install it again.

    Thanks

    edit1:
Tested it also in orange colour. Also breaks.

    edit2:
It breaks also when I change any of watchface settings via GC.
  • Unable to access settings

I am using the Garmin connect mobile app but when I try to update/change the watch face settings it says an error has occurred. Ive tried turning off and reconnecting bluetooth

Hi, it's because you probably don't have firmware supporting CIQ 1.2. Can you tell me which device do you have and what firmware version? Thanks
  • Hi Petr - I have the same issue - having changed the setting (in Express) from Curve to Bars (and nothing else) - Actiface no longer loads and I get dumped to the default face. Attempting to switch it back does not appear to fix it.
