Ballsita is a new Garmin ballistic calculator, focused on ease of use, intuitive controls, and wide device support.
It supports G1 and G7 ballistic coefficients, displays windage and elevation calculation results as MIL or MOA, and supports 10 fully editable ballistic profiles. It comes preloaded for many common loads, including M855, M193, M118LR, 7N1 and more. Realtime sensor data takes priority over weather call data to provide the most accurate ballistic solution. Inputs for wind, range and ballistic profiles can be done in either imperial or metric units.
Controls:
START/STOP: Cycles user input between Profile, Wind Speed, Range, and MIL/MOA
UP/DOWN: Changes the currently selected input
The controls are meant to be both extremely easy to use, and also to never obscure or remove the ballistic solution. All user input during use stays on the main screen--no submenus or separate dialogs to distract.
For ease of data entry, ballistic profiles and metric/imperial unit preferences can be edited through the Connect IQ phone app under app settings for Ballista.
