NDR-One, my first watch face, would appreciate feedback

Hey all,

Long time Fenix owner, first time Connect IQ developer. I just put my first watch face on the store and figured this is the right place to drop it. If anyone has hard feedback, it's this community.

Face is called NDR-One. I started building it about four months ago because I kept installing watch faces that either looked great in screenshots but had a broken AOD, or had decent data but the typography was rough.

Two things I focused on most.

First, a proper 24 hour heart rate chart. Rolling 24 bars, color banded by Garmin zones (recovery, aerobic base, threshold, VO2, max). Storage backed, so the chart shows real data within minutes of installing instead of staying blank for a day waiting for new samples.

Second, the AOD layer. Drawn separately from the active face, not just a dimmed copy. Thin numerals, accent only highlights, pixels shift a few px every minute to spread the load. The face you wake up to at 3am looks like a deliberate version of the active face, not a confused mask.

Other stuff:
11 widgets you can toggle on or off from the watch (no phone needed)
4 color themes (Atlas Prism multi color, Signal Amber, Glacier Cyan, Embered Red), switch on watch
Battery indicator turns green, orange, red as you drop
All data pulled from native Garmin services, no third party API keys

Targets Fenix 8 AMOLED, Fenix 7 Pro AMOLED, Epix Gen 2, Epix Pro, Venu 3, FR965, and around 15 more. AMOLED only.

Store: apps.garmin.com/.../93d7958b-f82b-4cd5-87b5-092e47e91508
$3.99 one time.

What I actually want from you is brutal honesty. If a widget is broken on your device, the AOD looks weird, or the typography is off on a screen size I didn't think about, please tell me. v1.1 is already planned (HRV Status, notifications, second time zone, Training Readiness when Garmin opens that complication). Rather hear it here than in a 1 star review.

Thanks for reading.
Alex

  • Thanks for your watch face and this thread.

Unfortunately, I can't buy it because you apparently only offer Garmin Pay as a payment method. I (and, as I've noticed many times before, many others as well) am not willing to set up Garmin Pay just for the IQ Store. It would be helpful to offer an alternative payment method, such as PayPal. I also strongly believe that this would increase your revenue.
