I’m sharing 2FA4G, an authenticator app built for Garmin watch users who want quick access to OTP / 2FA codes from the wrist.
The workflow is simple: import your tokens on the phone, then sync supported tokens to the Garmin watch app. After sync, the watch can show supported verification codes offline, so you do not need to pull out your phone every time.
Current support includes:
- TOTP and HOTP
- SHA1 and SHA256
- common 6-digit and 8-digit codes
- QR scan, photo import, `otpauth://` clipboard import, and manual entry
- local-first storage on the phone; synced supported tokens are stored locally on the watch
A few notes:
- SHA512 tokens can stay in the phone app, but they are not synced to the current watch build yet.
- The free version supports syncing up to 1 active tokens. Pro unlocks more active tokens and full Garmin sync.
- Please keep backup access or recovery codes for important accounts.
