Simple data field to show a carousel (switches every x seconds between):

Total Steps
Active Steps
Steps To Go
Goal Percentage

The data field is an ideal companion to motivate you to complete your daily step goal.

Is also an ideal project to create a connect iq tutorial, not to difficult and easy to grasp yet diverse enough to be able to talk about a lot of topics, see the post below for the topics currently available.

Connect IQ Tutorial

This showcase item is special as it's accompanied by a tutorial trying to teach connect iq to aspiring developers.

At the moment the tutorial contains the following topics:

* Added application properties to define which items to show in the carousel and to define the carousel interval. (a how-to tutorial will follow)

Guess I'm the only one that uses this app as there was a crash when the step goal was reached. Anyway, all fixed in version 1.2. :)

Hi Peter,
I was wondering if it's possible to remove the "percentage" and steps "to goal" from the data field, and only display "total steps" and "active steps" in the same screen of the data field.

Through app settings you can select what to show.

Awesome datafield! Any way you could add support for the smaller datafields (such as those used on 8-field datascreens on the 6X)? I can only get it to work when I use it on a much larger datafield. Thanks!
