Astromaster makes full use of the high resolution and number of colors available on AMOLED devices. 3D lighting effects, hands casting mutual shadows lead to a stunning, almost natural appearance.
Astromaster displays additional, useful information on the sun and the moon. As a dedicated deep sky observer or night-time photographer, you can plan your next session according to astronomical darkness and absence of the moon. The outer, colored arc is the sun-arc. It displays the time, that the sun is above the horizon (yellow), sunrise/sunset, civil dusk/dawn (orange), nautical dusk/dawn (red) and astronomical dusk/dawn (blue) on a 24 hour scale. Inside the the sun-arc, the moon-arc is drawn. Light-gray indicates the times when the moon is above the horizon. These times are accurate within 5 minutes.
