IQ Dive Computer is a Garmin IQ App for compatible Garmin watches that provides real-time decompression information. It computes and displays no-decompression time limits in real time, along with current depth and total immersion time. It also supports decompression dives. When no decompression times are exceeded, the app will begin to display and compute the decompression depth ceiling in real-time. The decompression algorithm is Buhlmann's ZH-L16. A dive planning feature allows the diver to determine allowable bottom times at different depths based on current saturation levels.

Is there anyway to get more details, the website is pretty sparse to say the least.

yes, my question is more does anyone use this app, are there alternatives, etc. I would rather a Descent Mk2, but looking at options if Garmin doesn't release an Air Integrated dive computer as I am getting a Fenix 6 or a MARQ and want to ask for peoples experaince.

This is something that isn't allowed in the app store.

Ahh, I was not aware of that restriction, and that pretty much killed that market, thanks for the info Jim this makes my options much easier :)

Wait for an AI Garmin or buy an alternative product.

Sorry yes, but it lacks a key capability I require Air Integration (AI in my above comment) so therefore waiting to see if they release a Mk2 with AI,

Peter.Bomberg yeah.. dive stuffs are not allowed to be in the Garmin App Store, but developers are free to distribute it OUTSIDE of the App Store which is what I believe the developer of IQ Dive Computer is doing. You can contact him.

The Fenix 6 (and later) won’t record depths greater than 20 feet.

This app (and anything like it) will only work on older watches.

Long term, these apps are dead in the water.

Thanks after seeing the acceptable used SW policy and the HW limitation it comes down to the Garmin Descent Mk2 or an alternative dive computer and either a MARQ or Fenix 6 as a day to day watch, I was hoping to combine them but alas my hope now rests with the Descent Mk2
