Custom text vs outer numbers

Hi,
in "huge update" in October came also one "small" change which realy irritates me.

If custom text is located at the right or left position then the outer number (3 or 9) is not shown.
I used custom text "Fenix" on the right in close of number 3 and it looked great but now it looks really strange.

Is there any possibility to change this back ?

Well...

The main reasons why I implemented it this way are first of all that it look more like the Fenix Chronos watch face an secondly that the String length is not limited too much.
I got some requests that there's not much space between the centre and the number on the left/right... so I think I'll keep it that way for now.
Maybe I'll add an additional settings option in one of the next versions to have the Option to select custom text with or without number, let's see...

Bug in Fenix 5x

Hi,

I was using your watch face on my Fenix 3 HR and it was working propperly, but altitude data is wrong on my new Fenix 5x: it shows always 0 m.

Could you please check it? Thank you very much!

Hi,

Apparently the 5x has some particular issues not present in other Fenix 3/5 models. I got word that the position cache of the watch is cleared mor often/in a different way thatn in other models, therefore also the altitude information from the last GPS lock gets lost. As a watchface doesn't have direct access to the altimeter, I currently have no way to fix that behaviour. There might be other ways of getting the altitude on the F5X, but as I don't have the watch I can't test it. And without testing I won't implement new features.

I'm sorry I don't have better news at this time.

Hello. I have the unlocked version of the flieger on my fenix 3 HR and the date does not update automatically. I have to switch to another screen and switch back to the watch face to have it correct.

I just unlock the watch face.
But I found the second hand disappear, even I hide and show it again or re-install it again. The second hand just disappear.
I am using fenix 3 HR for your reference.
Please let me know if I can provide further info.

I just find that all circle color cannot be changed after I re-install it. (p.s. I have already entered the unlock code)
Only color that can be change is the battery icon.
How should I do ?

that's not a bug, that's a feature. Garmin uses a power saving mode which enables the fast update (once per second) of the display for only ~8 seconds, after that, the display is updated every minute again. There's no way to change that with a custom watchface, the only watchfaces supporting permanent second hands are the buitlin ones as they are integrated in the firmware and can operate much more efficient therefore.

That's strange, there are no known bugs on the colour settings. Please check that you have entered the unlock code exactly as in the mail. It is case sensitive - and you have to take care that you don't have a blank before or after the code. If it still doesn't work, please contact me directly.
