Electricity CO² Footprint

I'm working on a widget that will show the carbon emission per kWh of electricity of your current location (or a selected region).

Maybe that will help people to be more aware how much CO² is emmited by their electricity usage and help to move the usage to times when electricity is greener.

Glance view is working:

The full view will show historical data in a graph.

Ideas welcome.

Nice idea! Where do you get the data from? And which countries are covered?

The data comes from https://www.electricitymaps.com/ and my app will be able to show data of all countries and areas they provide data for: https://app.electricitymaps.com/map

But the user will have to get their own API key
