HR Always has been tested with VivoactiveHR firmware versions 2.60, 2.65 beta, 2.71 beta, 2.74 beta, 2.80, 2.90, 3.30 ... 3.90

For those that want it all the time. Yes .. HR and Zone data and a summary. At least while you have the application running. It will use Optical Heart Rate .. as well as accept an Ant+ HR chest strap if desired.

But beware .. your battery may not love that green light, so you get a battery gauge as well. But I do not expect you to leave it on that long.

I recently switched to the Fenix 3 HR and I already miss this app. Any way to make one for the Fenix 3 HR too? Please? Plllleeeaaaasssee?? Pretty please??? :rolleyes:

Well .. the thing, I do not like to make apps for the round watch faces as it is tough to fit things on the screen. I will not make things so small that you cannot read the screen items (unlike some developers). I am over 50 and being able to see small items can be an issue for me and why I love the rectangular design of the VAHR as I can make things just fit better. Even Garmin has admitted that this is the case.

HR Always is my most popular app (number of downloads), so making it for the Fenix makes a bit of sense. I however do not expect to be releasing any more apps at all (except for maybe the Vivoactive HR as that is what I own). Even that is pretty unlikely at this point as it is now discontinued.

But unless I wake up and think "I should make a sleep app", that was where HR Sleep was born, I do not see too many new apps in the future. As you likely know .. I do mostly HR based apps. I can see maybe HR Count for the Fenix .. ok kidding. That app was really done as a joke btw. ;-)

However .. send me a note on the 'contact developer' link from the HR Always download page and let me know the features you want to see. Due to the round face .. something is likely going to have to go as it just likely will not fit (likely things like the battery gauge etc). I will look at possibly doing it. But I am very busy right now, but I will promise to at least look at it. I did the new HR Always version this AM as my work got cancelled for a few hours so I had some time.

I downloaded it, I tried it out, I reviewed the app! (wasn't it ceasar who said those words? I sometimes get confused with historical quotes... :rolleyes: :cool:)

Man... I can't belive this! What was there to complain anyway? Well, still thank you very much that you have taken the time to publish it for the fenix 3 HR. I'm still using it constantly and enjoy it very much, as I did on my VAHR. I just hope I won't have to reset my watch...
