Update 735XT

Garmin weather is from 3.2...

I can see still 2.4 for fr735xt and I think it won't update to the memory limits.

But you can use any app/wf that obtains weather from different source (like OWM).

The 735 is running CIQ 2.  It will never get CIQ3 or CIQ4.  I doubt it will be getting many (or any) FW updates in the future as it's about 3 generations old in the forerunner series.

It's running ciq2 because they have installed ciq2 :-) ciq4 no due to absence of gpu and probably also not ciq3 due memory.

So can we say that the FR 735XT is obsolete and practically discontinued? That's based on what you said.

Apparently I won't be able to use the app I want. Without updates it's bad.

It will never get anything past CIQ 2.  When CIQ came out, the devices that would get it, did get it.  You can still use the 735, just don't expect anything new.
