First, thank you for writing this. As a photographer, I think I'll find the golden/blue hour info particularly helpful, especially while traveling where I don't already have a pretty good feel for sunrise/sunset times.

On a number of screens, I see "+1" after the times (I'm using 24 hour time.) For example I see:

    Afternoon
    13:27
    20:22 +1

    or

    Golden Hour
    19:47 +1
    20:38 +1

Can you tell me what the +1 is signifying?

    Thanks!

It's one day from now. To save the space, which a full date would take, I used a relative day date.

    Does that make sense? :-)

    Conceptually it absolutely makes sense.

    The examples I showed

    Afternoon
    13:27
    20:22 +1

    or

    Golden Hour
    19:47 +1
    20:38 +1

don't necessarily make sense, but now they're out of context. In the examples I posted for instance, the Golden Hour times

    Golden Hour
    19:47 +1
    20:38 +1

would make sense if the Golden Hour for the day I looked at these number had already passed, showing what the hour will be tomorrow.

I'll take some more looks with that in mind, it probably fits.

Thanks again for this app - great and useful data, handy as a photographer particularly when I'm traveling to other areas where I'm not cognizant of local sunrise/sunset times. Your efforts are much appreciated!!!
  • I agree with WILCO1900. This widget is a great app. I hope, in the next update, will fix the use of "+1" and "-1".

It will certainly be clearer if you include the exact date. I think the watch face has enough space to display the month and day.
  • +1 (+days) should be fixed now with version 8

    Appreciate any feedback

I was wondering, if all this excellent data could be presented in a single page layout? At least on Epix it seems to be possible to fit bit more data to one page. Personally I wouldn't mind the smaller or even minuscule font size, if everything could be read at a glance.

    +1 Here !

I'm with you in that one :)
Instead of cycling trough the info like a maniac, it would be a lot nicer to have all in the same screen :D

    Great widget

    Hi,
Would it be possible to toggle on/off which info is shown?
    I'm no photographer
All I really need is sunrise/set and civil dusk/dawn.
    Thx!

I would also like to be able to toggle on/off specific info.

I don't need golden or blue hour, like the poster above. Just sunrise/set and nautical dusk/dawn are what I need.

Perhaps there would also be a way to include the percent of lunar illumination?

    Thanks

    Civil Dusk

Can you explain the difference in the two times. For example i see Civil Dusk 0812 pm +2 and 0838 pm +2. What does that mean. What is the difference in the top number and the bottom number.
