This app shows a chart with approximatly, the last 2 minutes of a choosen value.

It can show the following values:

- Heart rate

- Cadence

- Elevation

- Speed

- Power

- Scroll

You can choose the color of each chart. The default colors are:

- Heart rate - Red

- Cadence - Yellow

- Elevation - Green

- Speed - Blue

- Power - Orange

Note: Choose "Don't show", to hide value when scrolling

You can also choose:

- Background color - white or black

- Type of chart - Filled or just a line

- Number of seconds to show in graph

The chart adapts itself in width, height, font size and information, to the choosen field and screen form of the watch.

If there is enough space in the field, it will show:

Top

- Average value for the last 3 minutes

- Current value

- Average value of the session (for elevation, it shows total ascent)

Middle

- Chart

- Y scale values (3 intervals)

- Maximum value and dotted line

- Minimum value and dotted line

Bottom

- Elapsed time

Additionally, you can specify an alternative type of value to be showned.

The datafield will show the alternative value, according to the screen form or height of field.

In a round watch, if the field is in the bottom half of the screen, in a square watch/device, according to the field height.

This is useful, if you want to set a screen with 2 or more field layout, and want to show on top one value and on the bottom another value.

Indicate if you are using both fields in same screen, to avoid showing same value in both graphs.

Note: I only have Fenix3, so it wasn't tested on the other devices. Only on simulator.

how can i display heart rate,speed,cadence and Elevation on Fenix 3 with one widget.

when I enable Charts for all, it only show one field , either heart rate or speed, how can I display four field on same widget as your last screenshot.

Hi, you can't show more than two charts in one screen.
What you see in the photo is something that I printed out on the Garmin sdk simulator.
This is not a one datafield that shows several charts, this is a datafield that shows one chart, but it can adapt to several layouts of your screen.

I suggest that you use a 2 field layout. Put the app on both fields and than choose scroll in settings for field type and alternative field type. Also, indicate that they are both in same screen so that both charts don't show same values at same time.
You can also choose in the color setting "Don't show", for the other values you don't need, so the app doesn't scroll those values.

Few issues

I like the DF but it seems to have a few issues on my FR235.

- The "Number of seconds to show" doesn't have any affect on how much data is shown in the chart. It always seems to show the last 2 minutes.

- I use 3 fields and have the chart setup as field 2 (middle). The "Alternative field type" seems to only work in this configuration.

- Scrolling doesn't work for me at all.

Hi,

The number of seconds doesn't affect the size of the chart, it affects the way the information is plotted. The array to store values is limited to 140, this means that I can store 140 seconds of information "directly", above that time I have to "compress" information, so what I do is to start averaging values on the array to have space for the next value.

The alternative value is used in fields that appear in the. Bottom part of the screen for round watches. Otherwise it shows the field setting. I think that for the mid field it shows the field type setting, not the alternative.

Scroll should work, if you have more than one field color set without "don't show". Probably it is showing the field setting instead of alternative field, so you don't see the changes.

Maybe try a 2 field layout to understand what it shows in each field. Use setting "both on same screen" to avoid showing same information in both charts.

Display issues

On a vivoactive hr...
Added two charts to a screen with "both on same screen" activated, but it shows two of the same graphs, and those are from the "alternative field type" selection. Changing the "field type" selection seems to have no impact on the system.

Otherwise, awesome field! ;)

Edit Settings

How can I edit the chart type and settings (color, alt value, etc)? I can't find the menu to do it. I wear a fenix 3

Drop it, I just saw it's done through Garmin Connect mobile App.
