How to insert waypoints?

Hi! I have Forerunner 735XT.

How can I insert waypoints?

Can i change waypoints coordinates?

I wish there would be a selection in settings "how do you want to save activity by default?" and options- hike, run, walk, etc.. Because i use it for walks.

There have to be multiple ways of doing that.

You could use my IQ widget/app.

You can create a list of waypoint types and the app will let you pick a type to add the waypoint (the name is the type followed by a number).
