Simple walk permanently on waiting for GPS

Hello team

I installed Simple Walk on my 735 XT. Worked nicely on my first use. And now it just sits on waiting for GPS. Any ideas on how to fix this?

If it's my simple walk, try getting a GPS fix with something like the run activity. Also, are you outside under open sky?

Not sure about the 735, but if you go to "about" on the watch and scroll down, I think you're see a screen that shows the EPO status. That's data used to speed up a GPS fix. You should see "Current'. That data expires after 1-2 weeks, and you need to sync to get it updated.

If all else fails, reboot the watch. Press the upper left button for 15 seconds or so and the watch will turn itself off. Then turn it back on. You won't lose any data.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried walking outdoors. Tried hard reset. Deleted and reinstalled...and still no joy. Now the time on my device is stuffed and won’t reset. Have tried all the Garmin suggestions and have run out of ideas.

Can you get a fix with something like the run activity? With the time being wrong, that sounds like a general GPS issue.
