If I run Hike2+ it shows

“Waiting for GPS

GPS: None

”Menu” for Startup Options”

But nothing happens.

How can I reach Menu?

  • It's best to ask things like this in the Hike2 thread, or to use "Contact Developer" in the app store. (I almost missed this)

    The very first thing to try is to be outside with a clear sky view.  Trying to get GPS inside can be really problematic.

    The next thing is to start a native activity, like "Run:" and see if it can get a GPS lock (GPS will turn green).

    Something else to check is go to "About" on the watch, and if you go to the end of what's shown, you'll see "CPE".  You want to make sure that shows "current".  CPE is used to speed up getting GPS, but it expires every 1-2 weeks,  With the outage, it could be you're is expired.

    Syncing with Garmin Express is the fastest way to get an update to the CPE data.
