Hike2 App Auto Pause Option?

I really love, love the Hike2 app for my Vivosmart Music!

But am finding it annoying now to have to manually pause it for each snack break on the trail. Is there an auto-pause feature planned?

Running and walking apps have this, and the hiking features on the Apple Watch have this option too.

Otherwise I love the app and will continue to use it.

Detecting a pause is kind of tricky for something like hiking where there can be a bunch of starts /stops/slow travel, and I decided against adding that to Hike2. It does have a feature to remind you if you are paused every few minutes.

I agree with your logic and do t mind doing a manual pause when hiking.
