App on device that support customized structured workouts with different targets in the actual steps

Using Garmin Connect it is easy to create or plan a customized structured workout where each step has is own type of target.

However when I want to use my watch to monitor this workout I am limited to selecting one App where I have to select all the different "target-types" for each step in the structured workout on one screen together with the current lap time for the actual lap or select several screens with one or two "target types" for each screen and then let the screens rotate during the workout.

Would it be possible to "control" the screen "target-types" according to the actual step in question instead of either having one screen with too much info all the time or only be able to monitor the relevant info for the current "step" in the workout when the corresponding rotating screen passes by?

This would help the person doing the workout to focus on the relevant information which is specially useful when doing intervals which requires high concentration and effort.

As an example is a part of an FTP test to be executed on a bike and you can see that my target shifts between HR, Cadence and Power several times where I for each step have to be able to monitor some of these types of data together with the current lap time. When completing the step with the FTP power test I also want to monitor my current average power together with my current actual power at the same time using two fields on the same screen together with the current lap time.
