yes, I will look into an option for a black background. It might take a little bit longer than usual, since I'm currently quite busy with some other topics. So just look from time to time for an update.

About your question about battery consumption:
Due to data caching there is almost no impact on power consumption. The update of sunrise/sunset calculation is only done when there is a significant change of GPS position, or after the start of new day. There is NO additional sunrise/sunset calculation when switching to widget and back to watch face - so no negative impact on battery.

In the new version the background turned black on my watch. How to change it back to white? I've just couldn't find the way to do it (it it's possible anyway)

I guess you refer to the "Uno Day Night" watch face.
Yes, in the new release I just set the default background color to black. But of course the white face is still available.

Just change the color option to white.
And after change of settings, switch to a widget and back to the watch face to update the new conifiguration.

You can use Garmin Connect mobile or Garmin Express. I personally always do my settings on Garmin Connect Mobile (Android).

Your watch faces are pretty awsome and it's quite difficult for me to chose which one to use. But, I saw that on all your watches, you are never using a step counter...any special reason for that😉. Wouldn't it be possible to give user the choice to have for the red triangle either UTC time or step counter displayed?

I did release an update today for the black version. Maybe you just tried to install during this update process??

Could you restart you watch and your PC and try again.
If it still does not work, could you contact me via the contact feature in the AppStore
I currently have no idea at all, since the source code of both faces is almost identical (just some minor difference for color settings)
