Data fields: Configurable Speed / Pace

These data field shows your average speed or pace over a configurable amount of seconds.

You can set it to a low value (ie 0 - 5 seconds) for quick response on your interval training or a high value (ie 120 - 300 seconds) if you want to know your average speed over a longer period or you can set it anywhere in between.

If you prefer to see your pace, you can use this field:https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/8671ff28-ce00-4bf3-9ded-5973a6e2a731

These data fields use the new app settings feature to set the amount of seconds. You can find an explanation about how to use app settings here: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?332843-How-to-App-Settings

Tried yet another different data field (single field with multiple parameters) that had an averaged pace in it and it worked flawlessly. Went back to this one and it just doesn't work right, bounces all over the place at random times. This makes it useless for me and you seem uninterested in any feedback so I uninstalled it and moved on.
  • I used this data field on a 630 and it worked almost perfectly until firmware update 4.10. Since then the pace bounces continuously up and down and is useless. The instant pace field of Garmin doesn't have this behaviour, is it possible that this data field needs an update?

    Good luck with that.
  • Any plans to update this to work on the F5 series and FR935?
