Setting up in your Monkey C code the ability to configure your watchface in connect IQ

I would like to have my watchface be configurable in the Connect IQ app. However, I have not found either good examples of source code nor could I find this in the programmer's guide(probably didn't look in the right place). Any help would be appreciated...thanks,

OK... So.. some stuff is still unclear... take the following:

In my code: MyProgramview.mc

// Get an Object Store app setting value
var mySetting = Application.Properties.getValue("mySetting");

In a settings.xml file I might have:

</settings>

    <setting propertyKey="???" title="???">
        <settingConfig type="alphaNumeric" required="true" />
    </setting>

</settings>

what do i put in the ??? to connect the two (settings.xml and the mc code)?? the example in the programmer's guide does not show this. Also, 
what about properties.xml? What does that contain? Programmer's guide does not show this either so
maybe that is not important... Essentially, this is just a watch face... so I want to be able to 
configure it...thanks

download a Watchface sample,

you could find everything you want

basicaly you need 3 files to do settings:

-properties: to set the id and type

-Settings: to set what will be inside

-strings: to set what will appear
