INTRO!

* Features
Displays weather information based upon your current GPS location. Supports 12 and 24 hour. Support metric and imperial. Supports C / F temperatures. Shows weather condition (icon and text), temperature (plus min and max temperature), humidity %, cloudiness %, wind speed and direction, pressure, sunrise and sunset times. Also shows a 3 day forecast (min/max temparature and humidity %).

* Notes
1) I rely on the weather data returned from a 3rd party (Open Weather API) so I cannot vouch for it 100%. Please don't leave negative feedback if the weather is incorrect, tell Open Weather!

2) If you *REALLY* want more accurate data (and/or) more weather data then one option is for you to pay for an API key for the 3rd party Work Weather Online service. Once Garmin allow customisation of widgets then I'll be able to switch to the World Weather Online weather feed. Until then please don't ask for stuff like 'chance of snow' etc as the free API doesn't allow this. Bottom line is if you want BigWeather to be far, far better then you'll have to be prepared to help me to help you!

It might be that when handling this, it's returning "false" and not "true" for handling the button. Or could be a bug elsewhere. On the VA, "Swipe" might be a better method for changing screens. Swipe right or left.

On Garmin Weather widget, first screen is actual weather. After we must touch (tap) screen to access at 2nd screen (forecast). Swipe can not be used inside first widget screen because swipe (left/right) are reserved to scrool to next/previous widget. When we are inside (2nd screen) forecast screen on Garmin Weather Widget we have hour by hour forecast on the first screen (in this 2nd screen) and forecast day by day on the 2nd screen (page) on the forecast screen. Swipe scrool from the 2 forecast screen. To leave forecast screen we must press the "return" tactile button to return on current weather screen and to quit widget mode we must also press the "return" tactile button.

So the rules for swipe or tap are very precise. So IMPOSSIBLE to use swipe on first screen in a widget on VA. (reserved to go next or previous widget installed)

Tested it on my epix (fw 2.80). Worked well. Thank you for the app.;)
Would it be possible, that the widget is automatically hidden on the watch screen (without to disable the widget), when there is no bt connection?

Tap or the menu key could be used, I was thinking an app when I said swipe!

OK, Tap works to access others screen. The 1 and 2nd screen are right and the 3rd screen forecast display 5 x null.

Widget very pleasant :)

Normal widget action are : Tap to enter widget detail and after swipe left or right to scrool the different screen. Ex Garmin Weather ot calendar widget.

Tap to enter in calendar widget detail and after if you have 5 events you swipe 5 time to view next or prev event in list screen.

The widget looks very clean. Since I don't own a compatible device, I've no idea if it looks as good with the blue background. (Colours usually looks washed out on these chroma displays)

Anyways - if u haven't read already the thread about charging... U should before CIQ guys helps you to remove this thread.

BigWeather uses the watches settings, so if the watch is configured for C it shows C, or F if F. At present the watch determines its C if its set to metirc units and F if set to statute/imperial. This seems to be a limitation of the watches software NOT BigWeather. I'd raise it with Garmin in the ConnectIQ forum here

I have all my units set to metric, but the temperature is still in F. It looks like the widget is useless for me until this problem is resolved.
