INTRO!

* Features
Displays weather information based upon your current GPS location. Supports 12 and 24 hour. Support metric and imperial. Supports C / F temperatures. Shows weather condition (icon and text), temperature (plus min and max temperature), humidity %, cloudiness %, wind speed and direction, pressure, sunrise and sunset times. Also shows a 3 day forecast (min/max temparature and humidity %).

* Notes
1) I rely on the weather data returned from a 3rd party (Open Weather API) so I cannot vouch for it 100%. Please don't leave negative feedback if the weather is incorrect, tell Open Weather!

2) If you *REALLY* want more accurate data (and/or) more weather data then one option is for you to pay for an API key for the 3rd party Work Weather Online service. Once Garmin allow customisation of widgets then I'll be able to switch to the World Weather Online weather feed. Until then please don't ask for stuff like 'chance of snow' etc as the free API doesn't allow this. Bottom line is if you want BigWeather to be far, far better then you'll have to be prepared to help me to help you!

BigWeather 0.07 very buggy on vivoactive 3.20

Previous version(unknown version #) was slow to load and would jump around from last activity used location and then to the current location. Overall though, it was much better then the Garmin weather widget. Unfortunately, the latest version is very buggy on my vivoactive.

1. I randomly get a "Cannot Get Weather" message and occasionally just a blank blue screen.

2. The third page loads the data separately (says loading at the bottom of page) taking another 7 seconds to load. Add that to the 6-7 secs it takes the main page to load, and that's longer (~ 13 seconds) then the 10 secs the previous version took to load everything.

3. I have gotten some other oddball errors one of which said it failed to load the API data. This never happened with the previous version.

Please roll it back. Previous version was a 4/5. This one is 1/5. Weather prediction is fairly accurate up to 7 days out. Would rather see more like 6 days rather then 3 in the new version. Any way I can roll back to the previous version?

p.s. I removed the app, updated and then reloaded the app and updated. This took care a bluetooth error and I haven't seen any of the oddball errors, but still it works poorly compared to the previous version. Any way I can roll back to the previous version?

I've been using Big Weather for a coupke of dsys now and it's working beautifully. Saving last known location, not crashing, and looking great.
Don't change a thing!

Rupert, super job, as usual. Just downloaded SW. All systems go, except location. Initially showed Macon, GA. I am in Tallahassee- some 200 + miles to our N and E. Activated GPS. The app showed Leon County- right on. Went for a run this AM in TLH,next time I checked the app it showed Macon,GA again. Reset GPS. Let it run some. Deleted the non run and the city location reverted back to Macon,GA. Suggestions?

has the 920xt fw 6.02 beta changed the widget performance? Currently screen stuck in "loading" .

There is a new version for CIQ 1.2 (firmware 6.02) which resolves this (Garmin changed something) but Garmin will not allow us to post to the app store yet as it's still beta.

I am on CIQ 1.2 betta firmware on epix and i have loading bug too can you send me new version i will do sideload to test

just post app here, we're able to copy it on the watch themselves (we were able to put beta firmware on the watch after all).
