I'm working on the Pacer data field and a new version of Hi-Vis runfield.

Yes exactly! The fields all update at almost exactly the same time so it works.

It's a shame you can't use 3 custom datafields, or you could do some very cool things with the screen pretty simply.

Is there a chance that this will be changed with CIQ 1.2?
I am also absolutely in need to have more custom data fields assigned to my watch in order to meet exactly my needs. Three visible field per screen and only two customized is too less information.

I don't have a VA. But am curious. U say that on a VA. U GET 3 data fields per screen and you only have an option for 2 screens? (Meaning total of 6 fields over 3 screen?)

Just checking if my understanding is correct.

You are right, I need to be more precise as my statement was misleading :)
VA features 3 pages with 3 data fields each (top/middle/bottom). Two datafields are customizable (in total of 9 data fields), regardless of the page.
This is pretty much insufficient - at least for me.

I cannot read the display on my Vivoactive while running, so the app with the larger font would help me. But, for some reason I get an error message every time I try to download it.

Hi Pate

There's an issue with firmware 1.1.4 that causes datafields to use too much memory. In this case it means that the font now takes up more memory than is allowed in a datafield. I've asked Garmin to investigate and I'm waiting for a fix.

I agree that this sucks, but I have no control or information about how Garmin will allow us to use datafields sorry.

Looks like it's 2 fields in total.

Fails to load data field on data screen / vivoactive 3.20

When I add the data field (tried both center and top on my run data screen) on my vivoactive, all I get is an IQ symbol with and !.

Clearly an error message, no clue what it means except this data field is a bust.

Hi Mootrail. Which data field are you adding? Doubletime or Large time and distance in one line?
