  • bravo !

    can see the moon now

maybe the next version can do between 8pm and 6am :)

thank you for this amazing watch face

Here, in the Middle Europe, is still lot of sunlight at 8pm :)

I can make it configurable in September, because Garmin will release a new version of Connect IQ 1.2 (probably in the same time with FR630 release/announce) and watchfaces will have a new possibility of configurations via Garmin Connect Mobile.

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, I don't have the Epix to try it and it works well in a simulator :/ I'll try to find someone else with Epix to check if there is a general problem or something specific on your device. Have you tried restart your Epix?

Yes, restart doesn't help. Interesting that version 1 works fine.
Thanks anyway ,I appreciate your work.

    Really great face!
Did you consider sunset and sunrise time display (like in built in digital face). Maybe moon phase also? It may be great update.

Quite a big battery drain ...

Hi, I am fan of the watch faces, anyway - it quite a lot drains the battery - I see that the steps are actualized every second, anyway - once per minute would be fine too - i think - and it will not drain the battery too much ... Or am i fault? :) Thanks and keep a good work!

    Hi,

common behavior is that whole screen is refreshed once per minute and data for rendering the landscape (from your steps history) are recomputed once per 5 minutes. It only switch to 1-second refresh if you look on your watch and turn your wrist against your face. This lasts 6 seconds and then it turns back to low energy and 1-minute refresh. The landscape data are recomputed each 5 minutes always. Anyway I don't see any difference in battery consumption between this watchface and native watchface (on FR920XT).

Hemm... It sounds very good, so just now I dont understand the battery drain when using this... I will do more testing around this. I am comparing the Runners theme and the Actiface red theme, in this case - runners theme has higher battery drain, but dont understand, why ... :(
  • And what's your watch model? I'll try to find another user with the same model for more tests..

Btw. It's little strange that ActiFace looks more efficient because it must compute 2-times more data points for graphs and moreover it computes and renders an arc graph :) You can check the computation workload by scrolling via watchface and widgets.. The ActiFace screen is much more twitching than Runners Theme.

Love this face, but my watch keeps resetting and loosing my steps

I really love this face, but after my last few runs when I save my run the watch reboots and takes my steps back to where they were before the run. (It is still saving my runs). It's a vivoactive and I've only had it a couple of weeks. Help!
