Data Field : Single Field (Legacy : Single Run Field)

Typically the timer shows if the data field has been removed, you've already tried adding it back in after reinstalling I assume?

Im not totally sure what you mean about add back in after re-install?have tried to select it on my watch and just get the timer.

App confusing

I just downloaded this app on my 735xt (brand new), and I only have 4 fields. I saw where someone else posted on how to find the actual app and I agree I do not see it either. Connect Mobile said it has been downloaded but I have just the standard fields. I followed the instructions that you posted to the other person and again, nothing. I would like to see the same features as the picture, Time am/pm, Pace, Distance (cumulative) so I know how far, Battery/GPS. TIA

I've tried to download this app to my new Forerunner 735XT but I get the following message:

This app requires an update of your Forerunner 735XT. Please use Garmin Express to update your Forerunner 735XT.

I've checked in Garmin Express and it tells me I'm up to date and have version 4.20 installed. What am I doing wrong?

Some users have reported success when this happens with restarting (turn it off completely and then on) the watch after they have completed a firmware upgrade before attempting to download anything from the store. Have you tried that? If not, try that and let me know if it worked or not.

from the watch face do the following:
1. Click the top right button once to enter activity selection
2. Use the up arrow to scroll through the activities till you get to the one you want to customize (probably run or bike), only scroll, don't enter the activity
3. Select Menu > Activity Settings > Data Screens.
4​. Select a screen.
Some screens can only be turned on or off.
&#8203;5&#8203;. If necessary, edit the number of data fields. <== should be one data field
6&#8203;. Select a data field to change it. <== should be the Single Field

This will work with all of the Garmin native apps when configured as a data field.

I have installed the Single Field app and have it working on my fenix 5S. I am confused as to how to change the current pace field to show average pace. The description says

• choose current, average, 5s, or 10s for speed and pace based on user settings
  

I am unsure exactly what "user settings" this is in reference to, and how I access those settings. Help is appreciated.

UPDATE: I found these settings in Garmin Express - The description on the Connect IQ App download page did not point this out.

I have a 735xt and uploaded to the latest version of single field data field (v5.0.4) and have some issue with the 1st row. The color background of the 1st row is wrong and there is also an issue with the display of the numbers.
I've tried to turn on/off the watch and also to uninstall & reinstall - both didn't resolve these issues.community.garmin.com/.../1242013.png
