  • Hello ,
i am kind of new to fenix 3 i have downloaded the single run field v2 but after installing it on the watch ,
i dont know how can i activate it and see it on the screen can anyone here please advise me thank you!!!!

    Customizing the Data Screens

You can show, hide, and change the layout and content of data
    screens for each activity.

    1 Hold UP.
    2 Select Settings > Apps.
3 Select the activity to customize.
    4 Select Data Screens.
5 Select a data screen to customize.
    6 Select an option:
    • Select Status to turn the data screen on or off.
    • Select Layout to adjust the number of data fields on the data screen.
    • Select a field to change the data that appears in the field
  • Strange, maybe its only my eyes making tricks ;P I thought actual font is more bold than oryginal. I was running in forest in not so cool conditions so maybe it affected my visibility.
I doublechecked and font looks normal.
  • Thanks for the 0.0.4 update, works well on my FR230, I could have sworn that TOD wasn't there before but I must have been mistaken. Sorry for nitpicking but 10s averaging might be a bit long, could you add an option for 5 seconds?

Oh and here's the link for the FR230/630 version to be added to the first message : https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/1017d951-5771-4f27-80b3-96be7e443f0d ;-)

Any chance for a bike/hike version for these new watches? Thanks!

The 10s pace was planned for a while but was held off for memory reasons. Adding 5s shouldn't be much of an issue but longer time ranges will need to be tested.
  • Have on my FR235

Thanks for the work that you do. I like the added info on 1 screen. Question, the format on the IQ page is different than what I see on my 235. Example:mine shows distance at the top. TOD near the bottom. I don't see any GPSonfo. Maybe it is the way I configured it? Your explanation would be appreciated. Thanks.
  • That's odd, do you have a picture ?

@lcj2 - thanks for the info, not sure ranges longer than 10 seconds would be necessary ? Well I suppose it depends what Garmin does to fix the current "Instant Pace" on the FRx3x watches as it's "buggy" (i.e. significantly lower than average pace most of the time).

Another suggestion : bolding and/or ungraying the TOD as it's a bit hard to read as it is

What is the difference between "timer" and "elapsed time" ? Is "elapsed time" the current lap time ?
  • Elapsed time = total time since you started the activity (ie. the time between "now" and when you first pressed the "start" button)

Timer = All the time between any presses of "start" and "stop" - so if you pause for 10 minutes and press "stop" then press "start" when you set off again - Timer will be 10 minutes less than Elapsed time
  • Thanks, can't see too many scenarios where I found it useful but I suppose it's good to have the option ;-)

Can you please post a picture here since I am not entirely sure what you are seeing? To confirm, you select a 1 field view and assigned "Single Run Field v2" to it? If so, was it screen 1 or another? If it was another screen other than 1 and the steps above were completed, did you use the up/down arrows to switch screens?

I used screen 2. Not sure what you mean by switching screens. With it successfully on screen 2, that is where it is. If I switch it screen one, would I end up with what is presented on the IQ data screen page?
