Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forums and to Garmin watches, but I recently picked up a Fenix 3 and have been creating some watch faces for it. Here is a link to all of my watch faces:

Please feel free to send any questions, suggestions, etc. concerning any of my watch faces to me via this thread.

Thanks!
  • Really impressed with these styles :)

Quick question, just installed the Navy Pam with power reserve and seconds, but the seconds at the 9 marker seem to be permanently at 0 - is that right?

    Thanks!
  • Really very impressive!

    Well done!

That's funny. I started off thinking I would implement the power reserve on the Marina. I'll see what I can come up with.

    Thanks!

Thanks for taking my input and reacting so fast :)
  • You bet. Let me give this one a shot and if you end up loving it we can chat about your generous offer of a donation. I'll let you know when I have something for you to look at.

    Thanks!

    great, thanks :)

The second hand shows the actual seconds when the watch is in high-power mode, and it reverts back to the 0 when the watch goes into low power mode.

The watch switches out of low power mode and into high power mode when you "look" at the watch (moving the watch from your side to an upright position to look at it for example. Sometimes you may need to snap your wrist a little when you lift the watch up in order to get it into high power mode). This is something that is controlled by Garmin for power saving when using IQ watch faces.
  • Yep, seen it working this afternoon.

Pretty much my permanent watch face now, but one version without the seconds (at least in low power?) would be awesome.

Absolutely excellent! By far the best Watch Face. As an ultra long range pilot it would be great to have a 12 hours UTC arm or perhaps a digital UTC on this watch face.
  • Love the White Swiss watch face. Couple of questions. Is it possible to turn off the battery level from showing on watch face? Why do Garmin faces appear so much sharper than other custom faces or is just my watch?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the complements and suggestions everyone.

As far as questions regarding being able to customize current faces, or turn items on/off on the faces, I'm assuming that before long Garmin is going to expose a way to developers to be able to expose customization of the watch faces to end-users. Once that is in place I should be able to expose the ability to pick highlight colors, turn icons on / off, etc, to each of the watch faces.

Also, if you have a particular custom face you are interested in feel free to toss requests my way.

    New Watch Face (CDM Special)

User cdmackay funded a custom watch face (THANKS!) and I've posted the final result here:
