Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forums and to Garmin watches, but I recently picked up a Fenix 3 and have been creating some watch faces for it. Here is a link to all of my watch faces:

https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/developer/5f38681f-269c-4404-b898-67c60dd12cd7/apps

Please feel free to send any questions, suggestions, etc. concerning any of my watch faces to me via this thread.

Thanks!

    02DropTopM3,

Great, clean faces! Any chance on adding the "day" on the "Pilot Power Reserve Analog?" Might fit at the 9 o'clock position.

Thanks! Yes, I could definitely to that. I assume you mean Day as in "Day of the Week"? The date is there at the 6:00 position (but perhaps I should outline the window to make it more obvious).

Also, could you post or PM me what it would cost to commission you for some custom tweaks to one of your faces please?

No problem. Just PM me with your request and I'll get you my PayPal address. With previous custom tweaks or faces, I leave it up to each person to decide what they think the end result is worth. :D

    I'll watch for your PM!
  • Pilot DigiAnalog - Great + has potential !

Hello 02DropTopM3, the Pilot DigiAnalog works very well for me thanks! To make it truly "piloty", you could consider creating a variant showing UTC in the digital field, or, even better, a user configurable timezone (if that's possible at all). I'm sure that would be attractive for many. Pilots or not. Anyway, very interesting in all things dual timezone that's coming up. I think there's a lot of potential for the F3 to become the traveller's watch of choice.
  • Pilot DigiAnalog: Great + Lots of Potential!

Hi 02DropTopM3, really like the Pilot DigiAnalog. Great legibility. To make it even more "piloty", why not making a variant showing UTC in the digital field, or, even better, a user-selectable timezone (if that's possible at all). Anyway, always interested in any UTC / dual / multi-timezone watchfaces. I think the F3 has great potential to become the travellers watch of choice. Keep up the good work!

I do mean the day, ie, WED.

I'll work on a crude rendering and send it to you!

    Epix please! :D

Id really like to see these on the epix.
  • +2 on UTC. May TAG has that and I use the hands for local time and the digital for UTC when I'm flying.

    Nice work

I keep hoping that Garmin will add support for end-user settings on the IQ watch faces but it looks like it may still be a while.

That being the case, watch for a variant of Pilot-DigiAnalog that displays UTC in the digital window and local time with the analog hands. My question is, should the date shown in the top digital window remain the local date, or should that also be the UTC date in the new variant? Opinions?

User settings are in CIQ 1.2.0 which is scheduled to be out the end of September.

That is good news. I can't wait.

In the mean time, I'll still release this UTC version since there is plenty of need right now it looks like.
