Hey Arjo, good and nice work. GF3Fade can be dark? I think it'll be nice.

    Arjo,

You watch faces are great. I downloaded Fade today and unfortunately the day, day of the week and the month are off. It shows Sunday May 14th. I checked the settings of my watch and several other faces and they are all correct.

Also on the 240 Face I noticed several white pixels on the bottom left side of the background near the edge of the face. Not a huge deal but I thought you might want to know.

Again, your faces are great. They are my favorite ones. Thanks for your efforts.

    Fade

    Hello,

I am a huge fan of your watch faces as well. They are by far some. Of the cleanest and best looking watch faces on the store. Seriously, huge props! I was curious when you thought the necessary stuff would be updated by Garmin so that you can fix the date issue on your end? I am madly in love with this watch face and am very eager to have it working properly. I also think it would be really sharp in a black background to match the overall dark look of the fenix. Keep up the excellent work! I appreciate it.

    Hi ghost.man,

thanx for your positive feedback. I'm sorry to hear the watchface is showing incorrect date/week days/month. May I ask you which language you're using on the fenix? The version I'm using is working correct in the dutch language up till now (besides the already mentioned problem when switching to a new month).

Today Garmin launched an update for their development environment. It should include some software updates. Hopefully they fixed the date/calendar problem. You can expect an update of GF3Fade as soon this problem in the API is solved.

I've noticed the white pixels myself. It has to do with some strange behaviour of 'painting' the background. It happens occasionally the center is 1 pixel off. I've fixed some of the background images of the other watchfaces: they are sized 220x220, a bit oversized for the fenix screen, which has a screen size of 218x218. I will have a closer look at GF3240.

    Kind regards,
    Arjo

    Hi,

please read my reply to ghost.man.

A 'Black' version of GF3FADE is on my TODO list, correction: in the store :)
Build it with the new development software and running it on my own Fenix3 with firmware version 3.40. Just making sure it works as it should be.
Would you please try this new version and report back to this forum? And please supply the language your using, 12/24 hour format and your firmware version. Many thanx in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Arjo

    Fade

    Hello Argo,

I've been religiously checking to see if there was an update from you for the Fade face. The dark face is awesome! Unfortunately the day, month, and day still do not work for wither the light or dark face. Thank you for your hard work!

    Fade Continuation

I apologize. Just read your post. I am using 3.40, 12 hour, and the language is English.

Many thanx, I will adjust my Fenix3 to your settings and look into it.

    Regards, Arjo

Update: changed the settings to: English, 12 hour format. Watch face is showing: Wed, 17, Jun, PM, 10:04. Which is OK. (Local time in the Netherlands right now)

Hmm, a little bit weird this is. (Sorry, Joda speaking).

    Hello Argo,

I am very confused as well. My watch shows that it is Tuesday and the date is May 16. I wonder why yours would work and not mine. I tried shutting it down changing the settings again and nothing worked. Very odd...
