I’m beyond frustrated with Garmin right now. For some of us, the new monetisation system was only necessary because Garmin broke the current trial system back in February of this year and hasn’t bothered to fix it. Yet, despite this, they continue to advertise its functionality on the developer forums.
I have already transitioned my app to the new Garmin monetisation method, foolishly believing that I could move my existing customers to the new platform using the coupon codes that were hyped up at launch. None of this has materialised, and nobody from Garmin has said a word.
Emails go unanswered. Posts in this forum (which is the closest thing related to monetisation issues) are completely ignored.
How can I possibly serve my customers properly when Garmin refuses to address the issues they’ve created? I build a niche product because I’m passionate about my customers and users around the world, not because I’m in it for the money. If profit were my main goal, I’d have abandoned Garmin CIQ long ago.
Garmin, you need to do better. The theme of you ignoring your developers has been repeated many times, and you can see this in the forum comments. Garmin *.ConnectIQ reps are always there to respond when something is simple to answer, so it seems these messages are indeed being seen by the team. Stop leaving your developers hanging and start communicating with us.

Rick - can you confirm how the full process works? I'm waiting on my coupons/tokens as well. Do the users enter them at the point of sale on Garmin ConnectIQ? Or is it a code they enter later?
