IP address banned by Cloudflare

I had the same issue a few days ago, they are probably being targeted by a DDOS attack and filtering stuff with wide masks. The block is probably temporary.

I had the same issue a few days ago (provider KPN, the Netherlands). Garmin support had no other solution than "just wait for 24 hours, don't log in via wifi during that period, and then try again."

I thought I caused this problem because I connected my Garmin account to Relive: all my >500 activities were downloaded from GC to Relive.

2 Days later I was able to log in again to Garmin's sites and tools via wifi.

Sounds like the following bug, which has been somewhat mitigated, but still exists:

Idk if it will ever be fully resolved as it was originally reported 4 months ago, and they've already tried to fix it. At its peak, it was affecting lots of normal (non-dev users), but now it's mostly hitting just us devs. so I guess the priority is a lot lower now.

Idk many modern socialists would say we developers are part of the professional-managerial class (derogatory) haha. If someone calls you a "PMC" online, it's not a compliment.

I guess it really depends on what country you live in and what your salary is. Most people in America wouldn't equate a software engineer at Apple with someone who works in an Amazon warehouse, and many socialists would say that the software engineer's interests are not aligned with those of the working class.

But I don’t know… I had (still have somewhere) the original ones, and even back then, it wasn’t exactly a technical marvel, nor was it a great deal price-wise (they cost $150, while the Fenix 1 was $399 at the time). It found its fanbase, but I guess it was still quite a niche market, which eventually led to financial problems. I’m afraid it won’t be much different this time with much stronger competition.

Yeah it's not 2013 anymore.

Garmin is already considered a niche player (just compare it Apple Watch, look at the article from WSJ entitled "The Cult of Garmin", and talk to any non-runner or noob runner who's mystified about why anyone would want a Garmin). I have friends who switched from Garmin to AW and know many more people who never used Garmin in the first place.

Hopefully the new Pebble will find its own little hardcore following of tech nerds and hobbyists. But if any Connect IQ dev was disappointed in their prospects compared to an iOS or AW dev, I doubt they'd be any more optimistic developing for the new Pebble. It might be a fun hobby (same as CIQ is for some people - usually minus the "fun" part.)
