Possibility of Date / Time input?

I am looking at developing something, be it a watch face, data field or widget, to display a count down timer to a specific event.

As I have just discovered the API, and haven't read much yet, I would like to know if the following would be possible:

1) Configure the date / time of a future event
2) Display the count down almost like a live clock?

The NumberPicker allows you to pick a time, or a year, but not a full date. You're going to have to write code to take an input from the user and to display the remaining time.

One thing to note, is that NumberPicker seems to work differently based on the device, and TextPicker doesn't work on the vivoactive at all.

I managed to get a nice count down timer going. Unfortunately for now the event is a hardcoded Moment.
