Can someone articulate what the difference between the fenix 3 and 920XT with respect to widget loading times is? My fenix 3 takes seconds to load with a "IQ" logo before proceeding, for both my widget and a Garmin created widget. On another users 920XT (I watched so it was a direct comparison) it was almost instant. CIQ widgets would be more exciting if they could load that fast on the fenix, wouldn't feel like I was waiting, and it actually slows scrolling because you can't tell which widget your on without seeing which one loads. Any others seen the same thing?
The loading screen should definitely be using the application icon specified by the app at the very least. It has been discussed, but I don't know where things are at as far as making the improvement.

Launcher_icon or appname, and hopefully both, as this is also on the vivoactive, and @Brian, isn't this a device FW issue? So the changes will only happen with FW updates per device?
Correct, this is a device behavior and can only change with a device update. (Even if this was a ConnectIQ behavior that we could correct in a new version, there would still have to be a device update to integrate that ConnectIQ update.)
I replaced the default launcher_icon.png in my project with my own icons in sizes 32x32, 40x40, 42x42, but this doesn't work... I always get the default IQ icon no matter what I do. Any insights on how to make this work? This is for a widget on fenix 3. Thanks.
