Toast notification from within widget?

Is there a way to trigger a toast notification from inside my widget? If yes, what would be the syntax to do so?

The ConnectIQ API doesn't currently have the concept of a toast/notification. If you want to have one appear in your application, you'll have to write the code to do it yourself.
