Trial App - Callback Credentials

Apologies for the noob query, but it's been 14 month since I last uploaded to the App Store, and the interface has changed.
in the Developer Dashboard, I now see "Trial App - Callback Credentials", but can't find any explanation, but it refers to "your trial version".
How does this work please?

One more: Updating apps
How do app updates get distributed to users after an update has been published? What triggers the update in the users' device? Do they have to initiate the update?
24 hrs ago I published an update, but it hasn't appeared on my device.

You should get it if you sync with Garmin Express. And on GCM/Android (and I think iOS) when you look at your app you'll see there's an update available.

OK, It seem that Garmin Express does the update silently - convenient, but it would have been nice to get some heads-up about the upgrade at the time.
I didn't see anything about the available update in GCM iOS.

There's a setting for GE for "auto update apps" and that's on by default.

is there any updated info on this? the page above is a 404 and I cannot find any reference as to how to use the Trial App - Callback Credentials

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but to use trial apps, you used to need to be approved by Garmin. You see very few (if any) trial apps in the store.
