watchface / widget / app intercommunication question

The only possible way might be to have a companion app on a phone, where the widget and WF exchange data through that or do it by way of a website.

I've made a note to myself a while ago that you can maybe create a waypoint in one (e.g. widget) and read the waypoint in the other (e.g. watchface).

But never tried it, so I don't know if it can work, or is allowed etc :)

Some time back I suggested to allow apps to define multiple entry points, so an app can also act as a widget (or even watch face). This would probably solve your problem (as well as mine) to share data between those "entry points". But unfortunately this was decided to not being integrated in the future... In my opinion it would really improve the user experience at least between apps and widgets... bad luck...
