Garmin Connect web draw only 2 from 3 IQ generated workout graphs

Hi,

my datafield generate additional 3 graphs via FitContributor to Garmin Connect. However on GC web, I see only first and third graph, while on GC Mobile and IQ Monkeygraph i can see all three graphs. If I do not generate third graph, I see both 1. and 2. in both web and mobile app.

Is there some limit to number of IQ graphs to be shown on GC web or is it just a bug? Does somebody experience same issue?

capinoha, I see the two graphs here as well. Could you send over screen shot of the three graphs in GC Mobile? If I can show them that it's there in the same activity, then I can build out a case for them to look into.

yep, screenshots attached. All are from same activity as the one on web of course. I can provide related FIT file if needed. I did another activity like this with same result.

I wanted to give you an update. We have several distinct issues playing off of each other here. I've got them each reported to respective teams and they are being investigated/taken care of by their respective owners. As a run down, here are the bugs we identified:

1. Garmin Connect Web is not parsing the definitions for your graphs correctly so one is not displaying
2. Garmin Connect Mobile (Android) doubles up values when the dataset is smaller than expected
3. Garmin Connect Web is using super-high precision values even though the Fit file values are only one place of precision on some graphs

Thank you again for all of the hard work you've been doing with me over the last month or so trying to pin these down!

Hi Coleman,

is there at least any progress in the first issue from your list please? I spotted that the issue was somewhere mentioned even long time before I reported it. I understand Garmin web guys are completely different team, but this inability to solve such basic issue is really unfortunate. :( If there is something I can do in order to help with resolution of this old bug, please let me know!

Hi Jan,

We were able to identify the cause of this. The problem is that each of the three fields in your fitContributions has a 'sortOrder' attribute set to '0'. Our documentation states that duplicate values are not allowed for this attribute, but we apparently don't do any check during building, etc. The result is that the second field was getting overwritten by the third on the Connect web site.

I've filed a ticket to have duplicate attribute values checked (perhaps at compile time--I'm not sure what the best option is yet) to avoid this problem in the future. In the meantime, you can fix this by setting your sortOrder values to unique values.

I reported a similar problem in Jan. 2018, only 2 out of 9 datafields are shown in GC Web:

In GC Mobile all 9 fields are visible.

Indeed i have to correct myself, the hint for no duplicates for 'sortOrder' resolved the problem for GC Web for me.
