I’ve written some pretty compute intensive data fields that cut the battery life of my Garman Edge 820 in half. I’m thinking about adding logic so some of my algorithms only run every five or 10 seconds instead of every second. Is that an effective technique? Any other common battery preservation techniques? Thx!
