After some testing I'm quite sure -
on Simulator - when switching MapView to browse mode - and move visible map (center point) - then switching back to preview - new location for visible map is preserved.
on 5x latest beta firmware - when switching back from browse to preview - new location (area visible) is lost and always initial center point is at the center, however new zoom is preserved.
