Installing Eclipse plugin

I had to reinstall Eclipse and CIQ and used the instructions from: https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/sdk/ Is that still current?
While trying to install the plugin and adding https://developer.garmin.com/downloads/connect-iq/eclipse/ as a location there's an error "unable to read".. and in a browser this URL results in a 403.

Yes, that is the correct URL. I just verified on my mac.

Thanks for verifying that.
The URL is still resulting in access denied, so I wonder, is there another way to download the Eclipse plugin?

What OS are you on? I was able verify it is working on Win 10.

I'm on Ubuntu 18.04, Eclipse Oxygen 3A (april 2018). The error is: Unable to read repository at https://developer.garmin.com/downloads/connect-iq/eclipse/content.xml.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty
On my old Ubuntu 16.04 system with Eclipse Neon the plugin is installed and I can update it. So I'll get Eclipse Neon from somewhere for the new system and try if that works before getting into the trust anchors stuff. It's just for a one-time thing, to rebuild some apps for the Epix that I had on my FR935 (which is gone for repair). Building on the old system doesn't work anymore. Simulator won't run, build for device doesn't work. I thought a fresh install was a good idea :)

Okay. We thought 18.04 would be fine (and it should be) but it's not officially supported yet. We're going to start doing some checking on this to try and tease out any issues with compatibility and try to figure out what is going on.

It was a Java version issue; went from 1.8.0_144 to 1.8.0_171 and now it (the Eclipse plugin) is working on 18.04. Tomorrow I'll check if I can run something in the simulator.

Unfortunately the one-time good result could not be reproduced. Reloading the CIQ plugin and nstalling the beta plugin fail with the same error, while other plugins work fine. The simulator will not start (missing libpng12.so.0, see: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/deve...ncies-on-linux).
Will use a VirtualBox with Ubuntu 16.04 for now.

Edit: FYI on 16.04 the loading shared libraries: libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0 error occurs as well.
