Dura Ace shifter buttons and ConnectIQ

Does anyone know if it's possible to get events for the Dura Ace Di2 shifter buttons (not the gear change ones, the ones on top of the hoods) ? I don't own any so can't check for myself

The Edge firmware allows you to customize the button mapping, so I assume it should be possible to support them in ConnectIQ apps and widgets.

No, there isn't any functionality that allows button presses on the hoods to come through to ConnectIQ.

So, Brian was right.. sort of..

I don't have access to a Di2 shifting system, but it is my understanding that the Edge Remote uses the same code paths. We did some testing and with the Edge Remote and you can definitely get lap, start and stop key events from that. So, if you map the buttons on the Di2 to start/stop/lap, they will come through to ConnectIQ. You won't have access to the normal navigation keys though (up/down/left/right/enter/back) as there isn't a mapping for those keys.
