On my Vivoactive, any Numbers done with Graphics.FONT_NUMBER_MEDIUM print at the size of Graphics.FONT_NUMBER_MILD instead. It shows up larger on the Simulator, but on the watch it doesn't work. Anyone else with an actual Vivoactive having the same problem?

the simulator is a bit screwy with it's fonts for the VA. FONT_SMALL and FONT_TINY look the same in the sim, but are different on the VA itself, for example. The CIQ folks know about this, and it sounds like it may be fixed in the next version of the simulator.
