Simulator: Manage ANT+ sensors

I can use the realtime data from Tempe and Chirp sensors in the simulator (with an ANT+ stick) but not from any other sensor HR, foot pod etc). Under settings there is an option "manage ANT+ sensors" which always displays an empty window, I believe that is always that way.
I'm planning on working with ANT+ data from a RD pod (that is, if the ANT+ alliance does not postpone the public release of the RD pod profile *again* - now set for spring 2018). Replaying a FIT file with RD pod data is not a solution in this case, sideloading the app and debug logging is going to be real tedious.
Hoping someone has experience with using realtime data from ANT+ sensors other than Tempe or Chirp in the simulator, and can share how that is accomplished?

The ANT+ Sensors windows is still empty.

I worked recently with ANT+ in 2 ways:

1) read sensor information from sensors, which can be paired by „search sensor“ on the real device (my Edge device). In that case the sensors window of the simulator behaves like the Edge device. First you open an empty window - it‘s like you turn on your Edge with no sensors paired yet. Now you have to wake up a sensor and - for some sensors - put it to pair mode (of course you need an ANT dongle). When I turn on my Varia radar to pair, two sensors appear in the sensor window (light and radar) which can now be paired by right mouse click. If I turn on my ebike, another 2 sensors are found: power and speed/cadence. Once paired you only need to turn on the sensor for future tests.

2) second way is to pair a sensor by establish a ANT channel. I did this to read battery and assist level of my Levo (ANT+ LEV). For this method no sensor window of the simulator is needed. Simply turn on your device (ebike) and the ANT connection will establish.

it never worked and probably never will. But the ANT debugging in the simulator does work for me even now, using the Garmin USB ANT+ dongle

This is another example of bad forum UX:

- The More link/button is very slow to respond in bringing up the "More menu" (sometimes it doesn't work at all and the only way to fix it is seemingly to reload the page)

- When the "More menu" is displayed, it's very easy to accidentally click "Report as Abuse"

- There's no confirmation when you click "Report as Abuse"

This problem is even worse on mobile, due to the fat finger issue
